Mortgage.
The Energy Efficient Mortgage (EEM) is a FHA/VA loan program
that recognizes the energy efficiency of an existing home, the
EEM allows financing of cost effective energy upgrades into
the mortgage.
EEM's are available for purchase or refinance.
The EEM allows homeowners to make energy
efficient upgrades such as improved insulation, efficient
lighting, heating & cooling equipment, solar panels, etc.,
with the payment bundled into the mortgage.
