Through DEG, you submit applications, pay fee's, & receive
your LEED certification.

Since partnering with DEG we've done the verifications for 6 multi-family
LEED for Homes projects totaling over 500 units!
Going into 2010, So Cal HERS Raters has verified more than 15
custom LEED homes.
LEED for Homes is a nationally recognized
green building certification program that's led by the United
States Green Building Council (USGBC) in Washinton, D.C.
LEED is an acronym for "Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design.
LEED for Homes is based on a point system and has 4 levels of
certification, they are: Platinum, Gold, Silver, &
Certified.
LEED for Homes has specific HERS related pre-requisites such
as meeting the
Energy Star for Homes requirements and having
your duct system design and load calculations performed in
accordance with ACCA Man J & D, ASHRAE Fundamentals, or an
equivalent computation method.
